I believe the cornerstone of any design project is built through collaboration. Working with others to devise solutions to complex problems is one of my greatest passions. For one, understanding how visual expectations can be leveraged to include the needs of a target audience allows for work that is both aesthetic and meaningful. Listening to all parties involved to find solutions that may seem unexpected at first, but prove to be the most precise and informative ways to visually communicate the message is one of the most rewarding experiences that results from that collaborative process.

Collaboration:

The action of working with someone to produce or create something.

 

Discovery

In conversations with clients, we devise a plan to best address the problem. The question isn’t so much “What does the client need?” But rather, "How do we leverage the client’s vision with the needs of the people they hope to reach?”

Research

No job is too small for research. It is an integral part of the design process. We must determine visual solutions based on a thorough investigation of those who will ultimately be viewing or experiencing such branded content. Without this, we are going in blind.

Design

My favorite part of the creative process is turning all those ideas, findings, and feedback into beautiful and relevant design solutions. I work mainly digitally but don't be surprised if you see me with pen and paper sketching ideas at meetings. They help bring the design to life. Plus, who doesn't love a good sketch?

Results

Measurable, realistic, and time-bound results allow for success. I will work hard to provide high-quality products and experiences that will engage audiences in beautiful and meaningful ways. Innovative solutions are possible, especially when we have a clear road map to success. This is that road map.
